OUTREACH DIRECTOR
As a Costa Rican activist recognized in the field of human rights, Adriana Ross has distinguished herself through her tireless work in mental health and suicide prevention. She is currently part of the Miguel Marín Valenciano Foundation, from where she promotes various initiatives throughout Costa Rica.
From an early age, Adriana began her career as a producer and organizer of events and concerts. Her entrepreneurial vision and social calling have led her to collaborate with nonprofit organizations and foundations in several Latin American countries, developing projects aimed at children, the elderly, victims of human trafficking, and fundraising campaigns.
Over the past four years, she has focused her efforts on strengthening mental health policies and programs in Costa Rica, working closely with members of the national legislature and the current government.
True to her principles, Adriana firmly believes in the power of serving and contributing from any possible front. Her message is clear:
“Each and every one of us has the duty to contribute our work, strength, and love to help those in need. We must be part of the solutions, not the problems; that is how we will build a world filled with opportunity, solidarity, humanity, and love.”
